Peter Angerer, born on July 14, 1959, is a former West German biathlete.
Achievements
At the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, he won the gold medal in the 20 km individual, along with silver in the 10 km sprint and bronze in the relay. Throughout his career, he earned five medals at World Championships and won the overall World Cup in 1983.

Angerer won twice at the Holmenkollen ski festival and retired after the 1987-88 season. He currently runs a ski school in Ruhpolding.
