Anne-Lisa Amadou (March 4, 1930 – March 19, 2002) was a Norwegian literary researcher born in Oslo. She earned her PhD in 1966 with a thesis on Marcel Proust and served as a Professor of French literature at the University of Oslo from 1970 to 1982.
Achievements
Amadou was awarded the Bastian Prize in 1981 for her translation of 'In Search of Lost Time' and received the Fritt Ord Honorary Award in 1984. She published several studies on Proust and Molière, establishing herself in the field of French literature.
