Erik Magnus Alfsen (May 13, 1930 – November 20, 2019) was a Norwegian mathematician. He authored 'Compact Convex Sets and Boundary Integrals', published in 1971, and was a member of several scientific academies.
Achievements
Alfsen graduated from the University of Oslo and served as a professor there from 1975 to 2000. He participated in the Norwegian Research Council for Science and the Humanities and Pugwash Conferences.
