Biography
Henry Troutt Akin Jr. (July 31, 1944 – February 16, 2020) was an American professional basketball player. He played for the Morehead State Eagles and was selected by the New York Knicks in the 1966 NBA draft. Akin also was part of the Seattle SuperSonics in their inaugural season.

Akin was a standout college player, being named to the all-conference first team twice. After being drafted by the Knicks, he played one season before joining the SuperSonics, where he faced injuries that limited his professional career.
