Pierre Aigrain (September 28, 1924 – October 30, 2002) was a French physicist and Secretary of Research in the French Academy of Sciences.
Achievements
Aigrain earned a Ph.D. in Physics in 1950 and became a professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Paris. He was a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and received the Tate Medal in 1981 for his contributions to solid-state physics.
